Two artist talks with award-winning visual contemporary artist, author and professional speaker Michael Nicholl Yahgulanaas. July 4 Skidegate and July 7 in Masset.

Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas is a visual artist, author, librettist, and mischief-maker. His art lives in public spaces, private collections, and museums including the British Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Humboldt Forum in Berlin, Seattle Art Museum, Museum of Anthropology at UBC, and Vancouver Art Gallery.
His publications include Flight of the Hummingbird, RED, Carpe Fin, War of the Blink, and, most recently, JAJ, published by Douglas & McIntyre in 2023. In 2021, UBC Press published a catalogue of his work, Mischief Making: Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas, Art, and the Seriousness of Play by Dr. Nicola Levell.

He is currently at work on a mural for the Vancouver Art Gallery and paintings for a fall-winter show in Toronto and a museum in Paris.
