Sheila Karrow is an artist-teacher-researcher currently teaching grade 2/3 in Lake Cowichan. She divides her time between the Cowichan Valley and Haida Gwaii. With over 35 years of teaching experience in community programs and in the classroom, Sheila’s research focuses on relational ways of being through an arts practice informed by classroom teaching and place-based art experiences. During the event Sheila will lead participants in a discussion about climate change, forest ecology and create an art activity. Email kids@virl.bc.ca to register
