On Friday, August 25, join Queen Charlotte Community Futures, Haida Gwaii Co-op and Northern Savings, at the Haida Heritage Centre for the screening of A New Economy – a film that explores what would happen if working together for the good of all was the most common business model. Watch as several organizations strive towards building a more cooperative future. By putting humanity before the bottom line, they are finding their place in an economy previously dominated by profits and big business.
Compliments of Northern Savings Credit Union, the Museum at the Haida Heritage Centre will be open to participants from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. The film screening starts at 7:00pm sharp.
The screening will be followed by a discussion about the film, the new economy movement and how we might look at doing things differently and of course, some refreshments!
