Early Learning Forum – Talk for Parents and Caregivers
Keynote speaker Joanne Schroeder will share with us about Compassion as a Foundation of Early Learning and Care. Joanne has worked in the field of child development for over 40 years and believes passionately in the importance of an integrated “birth to adolescence” system as a foundational component in promoting the health and well-being of children and youth. She is the Director of Strategy and Innovation at the Human Early Learning Partnership, UBC, and as part of this role she leads the BC Compassionate Systems Leadership Network.
Joanne is a settler on the traditional territories of the K’omoks People on Vancouver Island, Canada. She is a mother of four and grandmother of three.
