This free, virtual healing circle presented by Sandra A. Martin Harris is open to Northern Region First Nations front line workers, health leads, and community members to experience culturally rooted methods of dealing with grief and loss during the unprecedented times we are in. Sandra is an Indigenous Focusing Oriented Therapy (IFOT) practitioner who will share Indigenous teachings about complex trauma using a body centred and land-based approach while facilitating strategies to finding balanced and strength-based ways of being. This is a drop in session. No registration is required. For more information or for a recurring calendar invite, contact TraditionalWellness.North@fnha.ca
Sandra is from the Wet’suwet’en Nation of the Laksilyu Clan and a member of the Witset First Nation. She lives in Tse Kya on the Gitxsan Laxyip in the Hazeltons.
