Join us for a full day of community fun, creativity, and connection — all in support of all of Haida Gwaii’s communities!
Hospital Day was first celebrated in 1908 to raise funds to bring doctors to the hospital. More than a century later, the heart of this event remains the same: supporting the health and well-being of our communities.
100% of proceeds from sales and fundraising go directly to Hospital Day initiatives, including:
Student bursaries
Healthcare-related needs not funded by government or the health authority — such as specialist medical equipment and other vital resources
Community wellness and recreation programs…and much more!
Expect a lively day featuring:

The beloved Loonie-Toonie auction & raffle
Food, games, entertainment, and more!
