Greetings, just a note to let you know our Annual General Meeting is next week, at the Daajing Giids Community Hall, Eric Ross Room, April 4, 7pm. There will be door prizes, a super slideshow of field season photos, and Guest Speaker Carey Bergman.
Our new 2024 t-shirt design will also be released at the AGM – I won’t give away the surprise, but the AGM poster gives a hint at what bird is featured on this year’s shirts! Shirts will cost $40, we can only take cash sales at the AGM. Our website store will feature the shirts after next week.
Our elections for the Board of Directors also take place at the AGM, you are welcome to join our team! Directors volunteer their time and keep our organization running in top form. Laskeek Directors assist with field camp logistics, strategic planning, fund-raising, community events, or simply attend one short zoom meeting a month to listen and advise. We appreciate any amount of time you can give. Join us at the AGM if you are interested in becoming a Director.
