In appreciation of Carole Bowler and Thrift Store Volunteers
Everyone who is 60 or older is invited to a dinner at Beaches. Theere are 2 sittings – at 5 until 6:30 pm & at 6:30 until 8 pm. If your spouse is under 60 they can attend with you. Please sign up at Super Valu with your name(s) and contact number by Saturday Nov.25. This dinner is provided by the Seniors Thrift Store. There will be a discussion about the following consensus:
1. A safety/wellness program so every person has someone they can call and check on (i.e. Wellness Check List)
2. Discussion about making the old Sandspit Inn in to a 10+/- apartment rental space. Seniors would be given priority for 1st floor spaces. A common room and a shared kitchen included. Discussion about pets, rules and parameters.
