Under the guidance of Master Lantern Maker Germain Vigneault, 20+ participants of the HG Rec ASSAI program are making lanterns after school and contributing to a collective story. Volunteers on the VOPC Recreation Committee will share this Story of Light along Millennium Trail on a date to be announced in Port Clements.
Islanders are welcome to enjoy the trail designed to enliven the senses through storytelling, live music, poi, and some special surprises!
Follow the story through the trail and then join us around the fire for seafood chowder. *** Bring your own bowl/cup/spoon so we can have a NO WASTE EVENT ***
The new Gift Shop located in St. Marks Church will be open especially for this event. Please drop in for a coffee.
It is recommended that you bring a flash lift for your own comfort.
November in the North can get swallowed up in the dark.
Come witness the telling of a collective story about savouring the light.
This trail is accessible to all abilities and ages.
We ask that you consider bringing a non-perishable food item for donation.
