Pick up your SRC package at your local branch.
Track your weekly progress at your branch to enter to win prizes!
Everyone that completes half their reading record gets a very cool brag tag! Bring your reading record to your local branch to pick it up.
Time Travel Tunes: Join us on a journey through time this summer with some of the best songs of the decades chosen by the staff members of Vancouver Island Regional Library! Find it here on Freegal!

Programs
Our goal this summer is to encourage kids and families to connect with their local branch to personally experience SRC fun! See below for our system-wide virtual programs available to all or check out your local branch programs in our events calendar.
Some virtual programs we are providing are as follows:
Live drawing workshops on Zoom with SRC artist Jeni Chen!
Ages 9-12 will take place Tuesday, July 18 at 6 pm. To register, email kids@virl.bc.ca with the participant’s first name. Please use the subject line ‘Jeni Chen Workshop 9-12’.
Ages 5-8 will take place Thursday, July 27 at 11 am. To register, email kids@virl.bc.ca with the participant’s first name. Please use the subject line ‘Jeni Chen Workshop 5-8’.
End of summer party on Teams on Tuesday, August 22 at 6 pm.
★Summer Reading Club Celebrations with Peter Puffin Whale Tales will be held at many of our branches. Please see your branch events page for further details.
