This workshop is an opportunity for leaders in local governments and First Nations communities to collectively discuss the issues of coastal adaptation and climate impacts to the resource sectors within the context of Northwest BC.
The workshop aims to share locally-relevant information on climate change and sea level rise impacts for the northwest region, offer tools for integrating adaptation into local government planning, as well as highlight case studies of successful adaptation planning on the north coast.
Above all, this workshop strives to create the space for participants to discuss how to integrate adaptation into their daily professional work.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
