The Haida Gwaii Film Festival 2015 is bringing over 50 films from Haida Gwaii, Canada and around the world!
This part of the festival will be showcasing our Indigenous film work from our repertoire. The highlights are:
Saturday, March 14th: “In The Land of Head Hunters” by Edward S. Curtis and “Tracing The Roots” by Ellen Frankenstein as well as a speech by Delores Churchill.
Sunday, March 15th: “Nanugiurutiga (My First Polar Bear)” by Zacharias Kunuk and “My Legacy” by Helen Haig-Brown
