Haida Gwaii Arts Council is excited to be hosting live electronic act I M U R! I M U R (I am you are), is an East Vancouver live/electronic act with a hybrid sound influenced by 90’s hip-hop/r&b, electronic, and soul. The trio’s tasteful blend of future-bass beats and live-looped instrumental and vocal melodies transcends genre and “induces true goosebumps” (All Things Go). Recently, I M U R performed at the Bumbershoot Festival main stage, playing alongside acts like Flume, Solange and Lorde, and was nominated for Electronic/Dance Artist of the year by the Western Canadian Music Awards.
